GTP IS THE BEST!

TEX STYLES GHANA LIMITED (TSG), producer of original and authentic GTP and Woodin fabrics was adjudged the Best Manufacturing Company in the Garments, Textiles & Leather Sector in the 10th AGI Ghana Industry & Quality Awards held on 27th November, 2021.

This award comes on the heels of a similar one the Company won in the coveted 8th Made In Ghana Awards. Recognitions by such reputable organizations such as the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) and Entrepreneurs Foundation cannot be a mere coincidence.

TSG, popularly referred to as GTP has over the past five and half decades been at the forefront of creating and producing premium quality textile products for Ghanaians and Afrocentric peoples of the world.  As the market leader in the Textile industry, TSG has introduced various innovative products such as GTP Nsroma-Adehye, a beautiful infusion of lace fabric into African prints and various Woodin collections unto the market in the past 12 months. TSG also serves as the main anchor that holds Volta Star Company in business as the main buyer of its grey cloth, the main raw material of TSG.

During the peak of the global pandemic in 2020 when all nations had closed their borders, TSG came to the rescue of the nation by supplying the bulk of the bleached cloth needed by the Ghana Health Service and Ghana Education Service to produce PPEs and face-masks for our Health Workers and School children. The Company donated over 6,000 yards of bleached cloth to the Covid19 Secretariat.

TSG has been a significant contributor to the socio-cultural awareness, skills development, employment, fashion & economic development and growth of Ghana. The Company employs over 750 Ghanaians in direct employment and thousands more who depend on its existence in diverse ways.

It is against this background that the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) deemed it fit to award TSG the Best Company in the Garments, Textiles & Leather Sector at its 10th Industry and Quality Awards.
