02 Sep This too shall pass Nustyle collection-2020/09/02
Accra, Ghana. Tue 1st Sept, 2020: Ghana’s trusted name in quality and authentic textile prints, TEX STYLES GHANA LIMITED, has released a new exciting collection called This Too Shall Pass (Wei Nso Be Twa Mu) unto the Ghanaian market.
WHY THIS TOO SHALL PASS?
The collection concept was based on an old Persian adage, ‘This Too Shall Pass Away’, which tells the story of an Eastern Sage who was asked by his Sultan to inscribe on a ring a truism which captures the reality of human affairs. This phrase has been the concluding words of our commander-in-chief, President Akufo-Addo in his frequent televised address to the nation on Covid-19. We remember it as encouraging words that give us hope that we will sail through this pandemic. We were inspired by this truism and seek to encourage Ghanaians and the world at large through these fabrics that no condition is permanent; no matter what you go through in life, just keep persevering. Good times shall definitely come!
THIS TOO SHALL PASS
This Too Shall Pass collection comes in three designs. The first design has motifs that depict movement from a state of barrenness to a better state of flourishing. This is conceptualized by the tree when drought prevails and in better times when the rains set in. The second design depicts a nest of eggs which shall eventually hatch to new life. There is hope for the future. This pandemic will not deny us of our hope of survival. The third design employs the hourglass, filled with the sands of time that flow with the fortunes of men in a never-ending movement between good and evil eras.
